So, I was transferred back to customer service.now I've been on the phone for 85 minutes. Kira said only customer service could waive the fee. She reported that she could not waive the fee.I would be happy to pay the remaining charge.the fee was sticking in my craw. The accounts receivable department person, Kira, related that they have a policy of a $30 administrative fee on any charges that have been disputed. I called ansferred to six different departments.
A month later I received another email saying I still owed a portion of the bill. I accepted that and she sent a new invoice. I received a email from a Natalie Morgan granting a 7% discount for my trouble. I sent email to the customer service and had the 10% hold on my credit card. Upon return.of course there was no way they could grant any discount. I had the employee write the problem on the back of the contract and put his name on it. The employee checking out the cars said if we took it as is we would get a 10% discount upon the rental return. At that point I would have given up a kidney to avoid going back in the office.

Waiting.Īfter another 30 min we had our car pull up.it was dirty. The bottom line-you have to take an extra shuttle to reach the office (I knew this). We returned the car to LAX (this time to the Renaissance hotel). We were quite angry by then, they brought us another car, a Chrysler 300, and everything went well after that. Finally, They bring out the car, allegedly an upgrade, but it was too small (a 2 door). They added on an additional fee for insurance-so that had to be removed. All the other customers were young foreigners. She tried to get the new guy to get us booked, but she had to show him everything. There was another employee, apparently in training, sitting at staring at the computer.
However, there was only one functioning employee in the office. Two employees were waiting outside the office to greet us-so far so good. 2 new Mercedes SIXT shuttles were waiting -it's a short drive to the Westin. You take the tram to the rental car stop (where most other companies are located). This is a new SIXT location in the Westin near SFO. It was the lowest rate by $120 (for a 10 day trip, returning to LAX).
